Join Me In this Mission Through Prayer & Support

Alaska is home to over 100 remote villages without a consistent gospel witness. The cold tundra and winter darkness has created barriers to sharing the gospel year-round. I am leaving my life as a banker behind, and embarking on a journey to remote Alaska, following God’s call to “make disciples of all nations.” You can offer your support of this mission through prayer, giving & more!

PRAY, Give, Go

making disciples

Our hope for every person in Rural Alaska is for them to know the the overflowing, never-ending love of God. We believe that by living in the community, working in the schools, and learning the rich native culture, we can build connections and help restore relationships with Jesus.

spreading the gospel

Along the Kuskokwim river, villages will experience 18-22 hours of darkness during winter months. Missions will typically become inactive during this time, but our missionaries will be teaching in classrooms, coaching basketball, and going out on the Tundra for Moose hunts!

A Little About me

My name is Kennedy Werner

I felt God calling me to this mission field last July when I served on a mission trip to a village called Akiak with my former college campus ministry. There, we spent the week with four AKSP missionaries helping them with various service projects as well as putting on a sports/Bible camp for about 30 kids. I learned so much from the teachers, and the kids I spent time with those precious few days stole my heart; I suppose part of my reason for joining in the mission is to go and get it back!

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
